In a 31-page opinion issued on May 6, 2024, by U.S. District Judge John J. Tharp, Jr., the Federal District Court dismissed Volkswagen's challenge to the recently enacted warranty provisions in the Illinois Motor Vehicle Franchise Act. This is fabulous news for all Illinois dealers. Our legal counsel continues to  review each of the findings regarding the multiple claims made by Volkswagen.
