• • ComEd will announce its new Point of Purchase EV rebate program, a collaboration with car dealerships and EV stakeholders to help make obtaining a commercial fleet vehicle even easier. The Point of Purchase EV rebate leverages ComEd EV incentive programs announced earlier this year, to deliver an instant discount to qualifying customers in the market for commercial fleet vehicles, giving customers more certainty around upfront costs, instead of waiting to qualify for EV incentives after providing proof of purchase. ComEd announces this new customer benefit in partnership with local auto dealers and with participation from various EV manufacturers.

    Through the Point of Purchase rebate, ComEd aims to help additional businesses and public sector customers move forward with their fleet goals—including transitioning to heavy- or light-duty vehicles, electric school buses, or other cars and trucks used for businesses purposes – which will help reduce emissions across our communities. Getting more zero-emissions fleet vehicles on the road is also an essential part of accelerating widespread EV adoption in Illinois and reaching the state’s goal for achieving 1 million driving by 2030.
